The short version
ChakraLens uses browser local storage to remember recent readings, aura color results, chakra plans, and quiz rotation. These essential product features stay on your device. If advertising or consent-based analytics is enabled, third parties may also use cookies and similar technologies as described below. Google Analytics is not activated until you choose Allow analytics in the privacy notice.
Essential local storage
The tools can store a completed report, aura color pair, chakra plan, quiz selections, completion dates, and an optional nickname so you can return to a result. The site uses the newest saved timestamp to offer a relevant continue link on other pages. A separate small value records which question set appeared most recently. This storage is not used for cross-site tracking and is not uploaded to ChakraLens. Use the Remove control inside the reading tool or clear chakralens.com site data in your browser to delete it.
Camera and photo data
Camera permission is requested only after you choose to take a portrait. Photos are processed in browser memory and are not stored in cookies or local storage. Closing or reloading the page releases the working image data.
Advertising storage
ChakraLens may use Google AdSense. When enabled, Google and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or browser and device identifiers for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, personalization, and measurement. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and other regions where consent is required, a Google-certified consent platform will present available choices before consent-based advertising storage is enabled.
Analytics storage
ChakraLens uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate page visits and product steps, but only after you allow analytics. Analytics will not receive your photo or optional nickname. Rejecting analytics keeps analytics and advertising storage denied.
Managing your choices
You can reject or manage analytics in the notice when it is shown, or select Privacy choices in the site footer to reopen it. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser; doing so may reset a saved reading or consent choice.
