The short version
ChakraLens uses browser local storage to remember your last reading and rotate quiz questions. These essential product features stay on your device. If advertising or consent-based analytics is enabled, third parties may also use cookies and similar technologies as described below.
Essential local storage
The reading tool can store your completed report, quiz selections, completion date, and optional nickname so you can return to the result. A separate small value records which question set appeared most recently. This storage is not used for cross-site tracking and is not uploaded to ChakraLens. Use the Remove control inside the tool or clear chakralens.com site data in your browser to delete it.
Camera and photo data
Camera permission is requested only after you choose a portrait or palm option. Photos are processed in browser memory and are not stored in cookies or local storage. Closing or reloading the page releases the working image data.
Advertising storage
ChakraLens may use Google AdSense. When enabled, Google and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or browser and device identifiers for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, personalization, and measurement. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and other regions where consent is required, a Google-certified consent platform will present available choices before consent-based advertising storage is enabled.
Analytics storage
We may use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful and where users leave the reading flow. Analytics will not receive your photo or optional nickname. Any analytics storage requiring consent will follow the selection made in the consent interface.
Managing your choices
You can reject or manage non-essential purposes in the consent interface when it is shown, and revisit those controls through the privacy options link supplied with the advertising implementation. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser; doing so may reset a saved reading or consent choice.
