ChakraLens (“we”, “us”) operates the website chakralens.com. This policy explains what information we do and do not collect when you use our aura and chakra reading tool. We have built ChakraLens to be privacy-first, and we collect as little as possible.
Your photos never leave your device
If you choose to add a photo or use your camera, the image is analyzed entirely inside your own web browser. Your photo is never uploaded to a server, never stored, and never shared with anyone. We extract only anonymous, non-identifying qualities (such as overall color, brightness, and warmth) on your device, and the image is discarded the moment you leave the page. We do not perform facial recognition and we do not create or store any biometric data.
What we send to generate your reading
To write your personalized reading, we send only your quiz answers and a short, non-identifying summary of your photo's tone (for example, “warm, luminous, vivid”) to a third-party AI text provider. We never send your photo, your name, your email, or any information that could identify you.
Cookies & analytics
ChakraLens does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for personal information. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used. If we display advertising in the future (for example, Google AdSense), advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads; at that time this policy will be updated and a cookie/consent notice will be shown where required.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the site: a static web host (Vercel) and a third-party AI text-generation service used only to compose your reading from the non-identifying data described above. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service.
Children
ChakraLens is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because we do not store your photos or personal data, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or delete on your behalf. If you have any question about your privacy, contact us at hello@chakralens.com.
